Yoga Mat and Straps

In Response To Covid-19

We miss all of you and we miss the ability to practice together in our lovely studio, The Yoga Haven. Given the highly contagious nature of Covid-19, we feel that the safety and well-being of our clients, staff and community are best served via online offerings and limited enrollment live-in-person classes. We feel fortunate to be able to continue to share the practices of yoga, meditation and mindfulness that will enable us to adapt, stay healthy and resilient as we navigate this extraordinary situation.

Live at YH Class protocols:

*All clients for in-person classes must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

*In-person class attendance for clients new to The Yoga Haven are subject to vetting and by permission of instructor.

*In-person classes will be limited to 8 participants per class so that we can maintain social distancing.

*We will continue offering Zoom live-stream classes and Zoom recordings for those who can't make it to the studio or who are unvaccinated.

*Wear a mask into the studio and until you have set up your mat and your practice space. You may remove your mask as we practice. Just mask up to move around the studio in the vicinity of other clients.

*Please do not come to YH if you are feeling symptoms or have been around anyone who has been sick.

*Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one, we have a few available for use.

*We have blocks & straps, if you have your own bolster, you might want to bring that. Our bolster supply is limited.

While Live-stream Zoom classes do not give us the same experience as being together in the studio, the opportunity for connection, checking with each other and conversation is available. Though we don't currently offer as many classes or

time slots in our schedule, we offer

convenience through access to recorded

Zoom classes for you to use for 7 days. Our online classes also provide the opportunity for students who don't live in Galveston to practice with us!

We thank you for your loyalty and willingness to join us in these new online offerings. It is our hope to keep The Yoga Haven going, to support and sustain our clients and community so that when this crisis is over we can once again practice together safely under the same roof. Please share our online offerings with your friends and family and on social media. We are open to your suggestions for classes and events. Please reach out to us! Your support is appreciated until we can reopen The Yoga Haven's doors again.
