AWAKE & AWARE
Monday . Wednesday . Friday
Short & sweet, this gentle morning stretch is a perfect way to wake up your body and prepare for your day. Only 30 minutes, it includes breath work and hatha yoga postures awaken your body and clarify your mind. Open to all ages, the only prop necessary is a yoga mat or blanket. Pajamas are welcome.
Monday & Wednesday
A hatha yoga practice designed for beginners, older students or those wanting a mindful, reflective pace. Class includes floor-based Satya somatic sequences and stabilizing postures sequenced to develop strength, balance and flexibility. Meditation and breathing techniques are introduced to support the release of tension. This practice is suitable for prenatal practice with permission of instructor. Props: yoga mat, 1-2 blankets, 2 blocks, strap, bolster, sometime a chair. *please alert instructor of any physical injuries or limitations that may require special attention.
Hatha yoga practice utilizing props to support wise alignment practices during long-held postures. This practice is rejuvenating and relaxing. Suitable for all levels and prenatal friendly with instructor's permission. Props: yoga mat, 1-2 blankets /towels, bolster, 2 blocks, strap, possibly a chair.

STRONG & STABLE
Tuesday & Thursday
Strong & Stable is a 45 minute, Hatha Yoga & Functional fitness class that focuses on strengthening muscles, stabilizing joints, improving range of motion, balance and building core strength. Modifications for those with low bone density are included. Seated, standing, balancing, and twisting postures are explored. Props are utilized: light hand- weights, blocks and straps. Suitable for all levels.
A dynamic flow class using surya namaskar (sun salutations) as a thread woven throughout the practice. Standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists, balance poses and inversions are sequenced with the vinyasa. This dynamically-paced series builds internal heat, strength, stamina, focus and flexibility.* Mixed-level class for those with some yoga experience.
Yin Yoga is a compliment to dynamic yoga practices, an antidote to a fast-paced lifestyle.
Primarily floor work, beginning with somatic Satya sequences to mobilize the tissues in preparation for the long-held postures of Yin Yoga. Focused and reflective, this practice encourages a healthy supple body and a cool, peaceful mind. Meditation and chanting are included. Props: blankets, blocks, strap, bolster or cushions.
